Snowdonia Railway

One of the little engines that pull the Snowdonia railway train up the mountain side of that name. These steam trains have been largly replaced by diesel engines now but they still run occasionally. This one was built in 1856 so, as you can see, it has lasted well. Mount Snowdon is the highest mountain in England & Wales UK. Copyright D.Maggs 2006
